The Artechoke Mansion – Jaipur

Well its not a salad! But a home high on art and craftsmanship!

Much like the user’s personality- dealing in jewels and being surrounded by craftsmanship in the Royal city of Jaipur- this home doesn’t disappoint with being high on art, drama, color and craftsmanship to add to its grandeur!

This luxurious mansion is home to a family of four- well travelled individuals, each inclined to a different flavour of art. The home is a blend of their personalities- layered through a play of colors, patterns, richness of materials and skilled craftsmanship. Like a piece of jewellery- this home is curated piece by piece, and unveils itself as a luxurious crown at its core.

At the core of this home sits a double height mural that unveils itself in parts- and can be envisioned as a single piece of art if viewed from afar. The mural is achieved through a stunning mix of mosaic and stone inlay, with inserts of stained glass chips. The muse’s gown unfolds and flows into the space- as a sculptural staircase that becomes a point of conversation in this stunning home. Each part of her persona trickles into the space- starting from her pearl jewel that takes the shape of a central chandelier crowning the double height space. Her head flower- hibiscus; is found in the inlay of the furniture. A scarlet bow on her waist forms a resplendent railing around the sculptural stairs. 

The home begins to grow and unveil as a story, part by part. It boasts of a luxurious hosting floor- that is adorned with thoughtfully crafted and minutely created black and white strip inlay on the floor.
