The Light Nest – Agra

A compact yet luxurious residence for a 3 generation family. the site posed the maximum challenge. the site is landlocked on 3 sides with only the road front being open for ventilation. the threat of the house being a dark dungeon loomed large. the design involved giving large yet slim openings on the road front side to draw in light, but cut out the heat. the planning involved multiple double and triple height punctuated with skylights and light wells to enhance the quality of day light within the house.
