The design began with a simple intent: to make a sense of place feel unmistakably contemporary. Regional influences are reinterpreted through bold geometry, crafted materials, dramatic volumes, and carefully choreographed light, creating a retreat that feels authentic without being nostalgic.
The spatial narrative is shaped by soaring pitched-roof pavilions, dark timber-lined ceilings, and dramatic vertical volumes. At the centre, an emerald-teal geometric staircase becomes a sculptural signature, contrasted against monochrome checkered marble and lime-washed plaster arches.
A cold-rolled steel spiral staircase adds another layer of sculptural precision, turning circulation into an architectural experience. Inside the guestrooms, handcrafted teak four-poster beds, floor-to-ceiling glazing, brushed brass, and curated art create a palette of understated opulence.
Every transition, material junction, and framed view is deliberately composed, creating a retreat where regional authenticity meets contemporary luxury, and hospitality becomes a sensory experience.
